Resources and Information for Businesses
Signature Tote Bags – We produce a minimum of 250 tote bags per event, printed with the logos of our Grand Dame Sponsors. While it can be daunting and expensive to provide 250 items for these bags, we highly recommend that you take advantage of this perk of your sponsorship. We find that our attendees come to Ladies Night Out Worcester and have a fabulous time shopping, enjoying our entertainment and meeting new people. That said, it is a whirlwind of an evening, and our attendees are visiting over 50 businesses! The tote bags provide an opportunity to ensure that your business is “seen” again when the ladies return home. While it is an expense, earning even 2 or 3 customers from these items makes your investment worthwhile. We are often asked for ideas of what to include.
Past SWAG has included:
- Samples of products you sell;
- Promotional items such as calendars, lip balms, notebooks, pens, stress balls, bookmarks, etc.
- Brochures with treats attached such as Hershey’s kisses.
- Coupons
Please make sure any printed items are done on a lightweight or heavier cardstock or business cards. We will not accept items printed on copy paper or lightweight glossy paper. They are difficult to separate and they usually end up wrinkled or damaged. Please provide 250 items. Do not include extra, as these extra items will not be returned to you.
Your Table Space – Please make sure you bring a tablecloth for your table. We highly recommend signage that can be placed behind your table (standup banner). This is far easier to read than a printed tablecloth, because ladies will be flocking to your table and blocking the sign! Please let the organizer know if you require access to electricity when you receive your acceptance email. We do our best to place vendors next to each other upon request, but please understand that sponsorship level plays a large factor in where businesses are placed. Please also do not bring additional tables, structures, garment racks, etc. without first asking for permission from the organizer. This is not a craft fair. It is a very expensive venue with limited space.
Your Business – We ask that you disclose what you will be promoting at the time of your application. Please note that we expect you will promote ONLY the goods or services as described in the application. Any business that promotes or sells items other than what has been submitted in the application will be asked to remove those items and/or services from their tables and will not be invited back to the event.
Multi Level Marketing Companies – We do not exclude MLM companies at Ladies Night Out Worcester, but we do limit the number that participate. We ask during the application process that you disclose if your business is a MLM business. Priority is given to non MLM business owners.
